New York, NY - $5 Original Fr. 397a The Gallatin National Bank Ch. # 1324 PCGS Banknote Choice VF 35.A lovely early note from this large-only New York City bank, this note is making its first public appearance since a 1989 auction. Called XF-AU at that time, this pretty Original Series Five has the look of a higher grade piece with just some very light folds. It retains virtually of its original ink colors along with dark pen signatures.
