Rome, NY - $2 Original Fr. 387a The Fort Stanwix National Bank Ch. # 1410 PMG Very Fine 30.A high grade Lazy Deuce which Bill obtained from Bill Donlon's celebrated Research & Personal Collection sale in May, 1971, where it was lot 459 and went for all of $55 on a $75 estimate. Bill called it "Very Fine" and was right on the money, as 50 years later PMG has graded it Very Fine 30. This note, like so many of Dick's purchases, proved a fine investment, and hopefully it will perform as well for the next generation of collectors.
