Description

Excessively Rare Wewoka Small Size - One of Two Reported

Wewoka, OK - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The Farmers National Bank Ch. # 8052 PMG Very Fine 20.
This great Oklahoma rarity represents one of the toughest locations from which to obtain a note in this state. This Seminole County community was the host to two national banks - the First National, which remains unreported, and the Farmers National, which currently has a census population of one large and two small size, including this $10. The first of the two known 1929 Series examples to ever be publicly offered, this note, which bears low serial number 6, is evenly circulated with just some light staining. It provides an opportunity for one fortunate collector to finally obtain this very rare charter.
