Fr. 826a $20 1915 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Very Fine 20.Fr. 826a is a just plain rare Friedberg number...so rare, in fact, that this offering marks the first opportunity that Heritage has had to sell any example of this number. Just three examples are listed in the Track & Price census, and only three have been graded to date by PMG in all grades combined, each between Very Fine 20 and Very Fine 35. This specimen is an evenly circulated example with excellent color and body for the grade. PMG does mention "stains," but they are trivial enough that the grading service saw no need to assign a Net grade. With price records for the less than a handful that have come to the market ranging from $9200 to $17,250, it would not surprise us at all to see this piece easily reach or well exceed...
