Description

Unique With This Title

Minneapolis, MN - $10 1902 Date Back Fr. 616 Minnesota National Bank Ch. # (M)6449 PMG Choice Fine 15.
This great Minnesota rarity is the only known note bearing this short-lived Minneapolis bank's second title. This institution, which began its life as the Clarke NB in 1902, issued under its second title from early 1905 until the bank's demise in 1911. Two notes are known bearing the first title, while, as mentioned, this Date Back is the only reported example with the second title. It is a moderately circulated note with good color and just a repaired edge tear at the top left.
