Logansport, IN - $10 1875 Fr. 420 The State National Bank Ch. #
2596 PMG Very Fine 20.A just plain rare bank whose issue consisted solely of First Charter tens and twenties during its brief existence between 1881 and 1898. To date, just five pieces are in the census, all $10s, none of which have been publicly offered anywhere since 2006. Tonight's offering is one of that small number. It last crossed the auction block in our 2005 Central States auction. It is an attractive note for the grade with excellent margins, signatures, and color.
