New 55.A great Serial Number 1 Red Seal from this Pacific Northwest state that is one of just 14 Number 1 Red Seals reported for all Oregon banks. Of that number, four are from the cut sheet of Number 1 $5's from this Baker County bank. However, since that sheet was cut a couple of decades ago, this "C" position note is the only one of the four that has been publicly offered in any venue. This is a pen-signed beauty with wonderful color that has minor mounting remnants on the back and a minor paper pull on the margin area. It certainly compares favorably with a Serial Number 1 Red Seal from Burns, Oregon that we auctioned six years ago which realized $19,200.
