New Salem, ND - $20 1902 Plain Back Fr. 650 The First National
Bank Ch. # (W)6428 PMG Choice Fine 15.This offering is a very rare note from the sole issuer in the Morton County community that was only in business from 1902 until 1919. It is one of just three pieces reported, none of which have made a public appearance since the sale of The Glen Jorde Collection in 2013. Last on the market in our 2009 FUN auction, this $20 exhibits just honest wear and retains bold pen signatures, although there is some smearing of the president's signature.
