Presque Isle, ME - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 626 The Presque Isle
National Bank Ch. # 3827 PMG Very Fine 25.This attractive, moderately circulated example from this very rare northern Maine bank is one of just three large size in the census. That scant total is not surprising as this bank had just $690 in large outstanding when the receiver arrived to close the doors in November of 1933. Crossing the auction block for the first time tonight, this moderately circulated $10 exhibits nice color and bold pen signatures.
