Newly Reported Thomson, GA Large Size - First Offering Since 2008
Thomson, GA - $10 1902 Date Back Fr. 618 The First National Bank
Ch. # (S)9302 PMG Very Fine 25.This is a great new addition to the census of this extremely scarce bank that was the only note issuer in rural McDuffie County. Just four large size (along with three small) were reported from here, none of which have been publicly offered since 2008. This newly surfaced $10 Date Back, therefore, provides a great opportunity for today's generation of collectors. It is a bright and crisp note with sharp ink colors and bold stamped signatures. Some minor staining has been noted by PMG, but it is not at all distracting.
