Sparta, GA - $10 1902 Date Back Fr. 616 The First National Bank Ch. # (S)7067 PMG Very Fine 20.This offering is from a very tough Hancock County bank that was only in business from 1903 until its liquidation in 1923. To date, just five pieces are reported from the charter, including this piece, which is the only $10 Date Back in the census. Of the other four notes extant, three are very low grade with various problems, leaving very few options for collectors seeking a quality representative from this institution. This offering is a solid mid-grade note displaying just honest wear and retaining nice color for the grade.
