High Grade Pensacola Date Back

Pensacola, FL - $10 1902 Date Back Fr. 623 The National Bank of Commerce Ch. # (S)10535 PMG About Uncirculated 55.
This was the last of the five national banks chartered in Pensacola, and the shortest lived as well, as it was only in business from 1914 until 1917 when it was absorbed by the American National in town. While seven notes are listed in the census, just three have ever appeared at public sale, including this $10 which last crossed the auction block in 2012. The finest of the known examples, it is a most attractive note with bright paper, vibrant ink colors, and dark printed signatures.
