Very Rare Bradentown Large Size
Bradentown, FL - $20 1902 Plain Back Fr. 654 The First National
Bank Ch. # 10245 PMG Very Fine 30.While small notes from this community are occasionally available to collectors, large notes from here (all of which bear the "Bradentown" spelling rather than the "Bradenton" used on Series 1929 examples) are just plain rare. The census lists just five such notes, including this offering, which is the only one of the five to have made a public appearance since 2008. While it does have some paper clip rust (which likely contributed to its survival), this $20 is bright and crisp with solid paper. Expect this to be sought after lot as it may be many years before another large size becomes available.
