Madison, MN - $50 1929 Ty. 1 The Klein National Bank Ch. # 13561
PMG Very Fine 25.This bright and crisp note is the only $50 reported from this late-chartering private name bank that operated in southwestern Minnesota. It features bold ink colors, original embossing, and the facsimile signature of C.H. Klein as bank president. Its only flaw is a small tear in the top margin. Last year, we auctioned one of two $100s known from the bank for $4,080.
