Grand Rapids, MI - $5 Original Fr. 397b The City National Bank
Ch. # 812 PMG Very Fine 20.A pleasing mid-grade note from this rare Grand Rapids bank that issued First Charters only before liquidating in 1885. Just two notes are known from here, including this example which we first handled in our 2013 FUN auction. It displays attractive color and dark signatures with just a few insignificant small edge tears.
