Nantucket, MA - $5 Original Fr. 397a The Pacific National Bank Ch. # 714 PMG Choice Very Fine 35.This lovely Original Series $5 is crossing the auction block for the first time since a 1980 NASCA sale. Featuring great color and dark pen signatures, it also has better margins than normally seen on First Charter notes from the New England states. For comparison purposes, two years ago, we auctioned a 1875 $5 from this bank, in a PMG Very Fine 25 holder, which realized $4,080.
