Richmond, VA- Bank of the Commonwealth $100 18__ as G20a as Jones-Littlefield BR15-46 Proof PMG About Uncirculated 55, 4 POCs.This Proof is the same design as the previous note printed on India paper with the usual POCs in the signature lines. The red design features show minor toning. Surprisingly, this is the only Proof of this design that appeared in the 1990 ABNCo Archives sale. This example is stamped by ABNCo, tying it to that sale and we are aware of one additional example. It is unlikely that the number of surviving examples is many more than 2, or perhaps 3, notes. PMG comments small tears.
