Fr. 1283SP 25¢ Second Issue Wide Margin Pair PCGS Superb Gem New 68PPQ and PCGS Very Choice New 64.We very nearly separated this pair, as there are legions of buyers who will want the 68 face and far less who will be interested in the 64 back. Yet, they appear to have been together since day one, and we are loathe to separate them. We are not sure what PCGS saw on the back to restrict the grade to 64, as the spread between the two notes does not look like a full four points to us. Nonetheless, the 68 PPQ is the target and the 64 No P is the ride-along. This is the first 68 PPQ that PCGS has graded for this number, with no 67s and a lone 66 below it. (Total: 2 notes)
