San Francisco, CA - $5 1870 Fr. 1136 The First National Gold
Bank Ch. # 1741 PMG Very Fine 25.Better color and paper quality than most others of its type make this a bright and attractive National Gold Bank Note from this always in demand San Francisco bank. The red overprint on the face is sharp and the all important gold coin vignette on the bank is boldly printed. PMG has mentioned a small tear and a few trivial rust stains, but the overall eye appeal of this example is excellent.
