Description
United States Government Liberty Loan Bond Participation Certificate New York Federal Reserve Bank $10 1917 Specimen PMG About Uncirculated 55 EPQ.A certificate overprinted twice with SPECIMEN and a 00000 serial number in red ink. Two POCs are through Ben(jamin) Strong's signature as governor of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. The ABNCo printed these certificates with their trademark eagle in the left panel. This certificate represented a $10 payment on a subscription for a $50 Liberty Loan Bond. When five certificates were accumulated, they could be surrendered for a $50 Liberty Loan 3-1/2% Gold Coupon Bond with all coupons attached.
