Very Rare State of Mississippi "Cotton Pledged" Uncut Sheet

28 Uncut Sheet PMG Choice Very Fine 35.This is the second sheet of this specific layout that we have offered in one of our public auctions, with the first example selling for $2,580 in our 2015 Long Beach Currency Signature Auction. While individual notes are not particularly rare, the same can not be said for uncut sheets of these notes from the state's "Cotton Pledged" emission. All of the notes on this sheet were completely ready for circulation, with both signatures, serial numbers, and dates entered. PMG mentions ink burn in some of the penned information which is not overly distracting. Shull estimated that there were around 16-50 sheets extant in 2006, and nothing has happened in the intervening years to change that estimate significantly.
