T67 $20 1864 PF-1 Cr. 504 PMG Very Fine 20.There is nothing special about this 1864 $20 note....EXCEPT the serial number. This note with plate letter B, was from the first sheet of eight Serial Number 1 notes issued for the first (no series) emission of T67 $20 notes. Thian's register confirms the signers as being H. Cooke and M. Allen. It is interesting that no one at the time apparently bothered to keep a Serial Number 1 note as a curiosity, since the note has obviously seen a good bit of time in circulation.
