Description
New Jersey June 14, 1757 30s PMG Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ.Not to be confused with the 1756 and 1763 issues that are frequently seen in Uncirculated condition, this note is not listed above Very Fine in Newman. Only 1000 examples of this denomination were printed, and this has got to be one of the very finest survivors. PMG comments about an "As Made Wrinkle." All three signatures are strong. The note is well printed, clean, and abundantly margined on all sides, especially when compared to most survivors from this issue. In the past half-dozen years, we have sold a couple of net/apparent graded Choice CU pieces that brought between $900-$1000 each, and a PCGS Apparent AU 58 that sold for $763.75. Few have been graded finer than this original Choice Uncirculated note.
