Description

Continental Currency February 17, 1776 $1 PCGS Very Choice New 64.
The $1 denomination is decidedly scarce as far as Continental Currency is concerned. As inflation made its value increasingly irrelevant, it was eventually phased out of production. This example, which has minor mounting remnants on the back corners, is well printed on bright paper with nice margins and has bold signatures of Samuel C. Morris and William Masters. This pretty example is among the highest graded notes available.
