Farmington, NM - $20 1902 Plain Back Fr. 654 The San Juan County NB Ch. # (W)9151A spectacular New Mexico rarity from by far the scarcer of this community's two banks. The Four Corners area has always been somewhat desolate, with Farmington the only issuing location in a county of 5500 square miles. This large only bank was missing from every great New Mexico collection offered in recent years, from Everson to Burnworth to Latimer, and has been offered only once to the collecting public during the past four decades. Any estimate here is simply a guess, as only the fortuitous discovery of the Colorado Brothel Hoard has brought this wonderful note to light, but it would not surprise us at all to see this evenly circulated and flawless for the PCGS Very Fine 20 grade specimen easily reach or well exceed...
