Superb Gem 1886 $1 Martha
Fr. 215 $1 1886 Silver Certificate PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ.This note was sold by us way back in 2008. It is one of a quartet graded at this extreme level by PCGS, with none higher. Interestingly, no 1886 Martha has been graded higher than 67. We recently sold one of the four, back in October 2012, for just shy of $10K. The margins are extremely wide and the colors quite vivid. The portrait of Martha appears especially lifelike. It is certain to make its next owner proud.
