First Liberty Loan Converted 4 1/4% Gold Bond of 1932-1947 $50 May 9, 1918This is the first $50 bond from this issue that we have had the opportunity to auction. Thirty-seven coupons remain on this colorful bond that has a Thomas Jefferson portrait on the face and a patriotic vignette on the back of Doughboys going over the top with the American flag. Paper originality is noticed that also includes a boldly embossed Treasury Seal. PMG About Uncirculated 53.
