Waco, TX - $100 1882 Date Back Fr. 568 The Waco NB Ch. # (S)2189This is a very attractive example of a particularly rare type, both from Texas and from the nation as a whole, where the number of recorded specimens in all grades barely totals 125. Texas can account for one dozen of that number, with three of those notes ensconced in the Philpott/Moody Foundation holdings. This piece is a real beauty as well, with strong signatures, even margins, and bright colors and inks. Sharp Very Fine+++, a great Texas type note fit for the finest of collections.
