Hong Kong Mercantile Bank of India $5 Nov. 29, 1941 Pick 235This is a just plain rare note in any condition, and particularly so in this state of preservation, having been issued barely four weeks before the Japanese invasion and occupation of Hong Kong. The colors are bright and the paper quality excellent, with the note's only defect being a tiny circular hole in the top margin that affects nothing. Fine-Very Fine.
