Magnificent PCGS Superb Gem New 67 PPQ Fr. 129
Fr. 129 $20 1878 Legal Tender PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ.Hugely margined, with excellent centering of both sides and a very deep blue security stain. The red overprint is bright and sharp, and the eye appeal is terrific, making this yet another outstanding example from the Menlo Park collection. Friedberg 129 is a number that comes nice, but this exceptional piece is one of only two Fr. 129's to receive the Superb Gem New 67PPQ designation from PCGS, while PMG has only graded one piece Superb Gem 67 to date.
