Great Rock Island $100 Brown Back
Rock Island, IL - $100 1882 Brown Back Fr. 525 The Rock Island NB Ch. # (M)1889A great note that we have had the privilege of offering in two of our previous auctions. It is still just as attractive and just as rare, as it is still the only $100 Brown Back known from here and displays rich brown color and pretty pen signatures. It has received some minor margin restoration work and the third party service mentions some small rust stains which are not readily discernable. Anyway, it is a very presentable example of a rare type and should once again be of great interest to the collecting community tonight. PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20.
