Description

Peoria $100 Brown Back

Peoria, IL - $100 1882 Brown Back Fr. 519 The First NB Ch. # 176
A rare high denomination note that is the only Brown Back of any kind known from this otherwise available Peoria bank which was once part of the extensive Tom Flynn collection. It is as pretty as it is scarce with rich brown color and attractive pen signatures. Barely 300 examples of this type and denomination are listed in the latest Kelly census for the entire country. PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20, with a couple of miniscule edge repairs noticed by the third party grader.
