Mattoon, IL - $50 1902 Date Back Fr. 670 The NB of Mattoon Ch. # (M)10045A rare Mattoon high denomination example, with this note only the second large size $50 to be reported. It has sustained only moderate circulation, but does have some staining. It remains the only specimen of this denomination to ever cross the auction block. PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25.
