Description

Unique in Small Size

Whitesboro, TX - $10 1929 Ty. 1 The First NB Ch. # 5847
This tiny Grayson County bank limped along for thirty years before the Depression put it out of its misery in January of 1930. This is the only survivor of a miniscule small size issue which lasted for only six months before the bank shut down. While well circulated, it is fully intact and, as the question goes, where can another be found at any price? Very Good-Fine, a remarkable opportunity for the serious collector of this state's 1929 issue.
