Haverstraw, NY - $5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 605 The NB of Haverstraw & TC Ch. # 2229This piece bears the second title employed by this institution, which was used on large notes only from 1926 through 1929. Just a relative handful of large size sheets were printed using this nomenclature, with only this piece and a serial number 1 example having surfaced to date. PCGS Apparent Fine 15, with the Apparent grade, according to PCGS, coming due to small rust stains. The "stains" consist entirely of a few small flecks in the margins that affect nothing and would normally not be mentioned on a note in this grade even by the most conservative of cataloguers.
