Hartford, CT - $5 1902 Red Seal Fr. 587 The Phoenix NB Ch. # (N)670A beautifully margined serial number 1 Red Seal which has every attribute a collector could ever want. The colors are as bold as the day the note was cut from the sheet at the bank, the pen signatures are well nigh perfect, the originality is easily evident, and the overall attractiveness of the note is simply stunning. Our consignor obtained this note and the next two from the collection of Don Gilletti in 2008, and it remains as nice as any note we know of from this bank. PCGS Gem New 65PPQ.
