Houston, TX- Government of Texas $20 Dec. 31, 1838 Cr. H19 Medlar 63 PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ.Our current $20 offering is characterized by a depiction of Minerva with a shield and spear at left and Liberty clutching a spear and reclining on cotton bales at upper right. The shield which Minerva leans upon contains a star with six points. This example possesses bright white, unblemished paper, a full frame, and little evidence of circulation. PMG has certified only four representatives in higher grades than this note. The usual cut cancels are present.
