John Morton Signed Pennsylvania April 3, 1772 4d PMG Choice Fine 15.Small change notes from this 1772 series are actually quite difficult to obtain. They are not commonly seen like they are for a lot of the other 1770s era issues. This evenly circulated example is further enhanced by the still-legible signature of John Morton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
