Frankfort, KY- Farmers Bank of Kentucky $5 18__ G220a Remainder PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.
The Farmers Bank of Kentucky was organized in 1850 and had up to seven branches in operation at different times. The note features portraits of Governor John Crittenden (1848-50) and his wife. Their portraits accompany a vignette of two farmers opening new ground with a plow. Other design elements such as the bank title, two FIVE protectors, part of the denominational counter, and the back are printed in red.
