"Issued at Little Rock, AR" T41 $100 1862 PF-22 Cr. 320A PMG Choice Very Fine 35.A manuscript endorsement appears on the back of this pleasant, evenly circulated note, indicating that it was issued at Little Rock, AR, on February 14, 1863, just seven months before the city fell to Union forces on September 10, 1863. There is no evidence that any interest was paid on this note in the form of IP stamps or endorsements. This note is one of 19 anonymous Little Rock-issued notes known to us at present and only the third we have handled.
