Description
Beaumont, TX- Jefferson County $2 Feb. 10, 1863 Medlar UNL PMG Fine 12.This attractive green and black note has a "2" in an intricate end panel with an attractive green tint and green TWO protector covering most of the note. There is a tiny vignette of a lyre at bottom center. PMG notes a chip out of the bottom right margin that just touches the frameline. We are aware of two examples of this note at present, with the other example having noticeable stains.
