Rare Indian Territory Obsolete
Sasakwa, OK (Indian Terr.)- Jno. F. Brown & Sons 50¢ Feb.
23, 1905 Burgett 2 Very Fine.A fully issued note that was printed all in blue. Name of Jno. F. Brown & Sons at top, and signed as such by him along the signature line. Printed on bond paper with blank back. Impressive Indian warrior vignette seen at far left. The central obligation states "Due in Merchandise." Some minor stains are seen but that is heavily outweighed by the fact that this note has huge margins and crisp paper. A great note that is rare as hen's teeth. One of only two we have seen, with the other a PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30 that most recently sold for $960 in a public sale.
