Soldier's on Horseback Vignette. Not graded.This sunken die proof vignette affixed to cardstock is of General Winfield Scott entering Mexico City in 1847 during the Mexican-American War. It was used on $1,000 Nationals of the First Charter Period, Fr. 465. Twenty-one $1,000s are still outstanding, but none are known.
