The Schultz's Checking List reprint is of Schultz's corrected, revised, and enlarged second edition, though this fact is not readily discernible from the text. Walter Schultz (Dallas Coin Club member number 25) thanks in his foreword, fellow Dallas Coin Club members, William A. Philpott and B. Max Mehl (member numbers 1 and 12 respectively), for their help in getting his work ready for publication. Original copies of Schultz's work are very scarce and fortunately it was reprinted by the Glazers. A review of Schultz's original second edition found on page 136 of the February 1937 The Numismatist states, "It makes classification of every specimen a pleasure and the acquisition of new specimens an interesting chase." The other two Fractional references in this lot belong in every serious Fractional collector's library, too. (Total: 3 books)
