Description
Stockton, CA- Stockton Clearing House $1,000 Nov. 12, 1907 PCGS Banknote About Unc 55 Details.This is the first example of this high denomination note that we have been able to offer from this issuer. This fully issued note was issued by the Stockton Clearing House to provide a means of conducting commerce during the Panic of 1907. It is roulette cancelled, indicating it was redeemed in 1908. PCGS Banknote indicates that there is a thin band of mounting adhesive along the back left margin.
