HB-162 EP-83 Scott-115 Reed-KG05 5¢ Kirkpatrick & Gault Very Fine.Numerical grade: 80case.50mica.70stamp. = 200.
An attractive dark brown encasement with darker toning amongst the advertising text is first noticed, while the stamp side is olive-green. The stamp is nicely centered from both left to right and top to bottom. The mica shows much crazing when indirect lighting is reflected. Reed considers his KG05 as an R-3, indicating 41 to 50 known.
