Ireland Central Bank of Ireland 1; 5; 10 1977; 1976-77; 1978-81 Pick 70as; 71bs; 72as Three Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ; Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ; Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.A pleasing denomination set of Specimen from "Series B," the notes are rich in color with a story to be told on each. The appealing one pound example features geometric designs and the legendary Queen of Connaught on the front. A extract from the Book of the Dun Cow is printed across the back. The attractive five pound example features a portrait of Johannes Scotus Eriugena and the back is highlighted by an extract of the Book of Kells. The intriguing ten pound example displays the coat of arms beside a portrait of Johnathan Swift, and an extract from the 1756 map of Dublin and the Liffey River, bringing great eye appeal to this note. Please note that the grading company misattributes the denomination (but not the Pick number) of the 10 pounds on the holder. (Total: 3 notes)
