Ethiopia Bank of Ethiopia 2; 100 Thalers 1.6.1933; 1.5.1932 Pick 6; 10 Two Examples PMG Choice Uncirculated 64; Choice Fine 15.The Bank of Ethiopia opened in 1932 and issued a new series of notes. The 2 Thalers note was a completely new design while the higher denominations were essentially retitled versions of the previous Bank of Abyssinia issues. All were printed by BWC. PMG notes that the 100 Thalers note has pinholes, particularly along the left and right margins although these are difficult to detect without backlighting the note.
