Egypt Egyptian Government 10 Piastres 27.5.1917 Pick 160bs Specimen PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.King Ahmed Fuad I approved the issuance of these small change Piastres. Initial problems were noticed with the 5 Piastres from this issue, and was redesigned to prevent forgery. The government stopped issuing this type after WWI. This example is the highest graded on the PMG census. Cancelled perforated.
