Hong Kong Chartered Bank of India, Australia & China 5 Dollars 20.9.1940; 28.10.1941 Pick Pick 54a; 54b Three Examples PMG Very Fine 20; Very Fine 30; Very Fine 25.This design has increased in popularity in recent years, as it is less common than its HSBC contemporary counterparts. Handsome Waterlow & Sons engravings are easily enjoyed on both sides of these notes. The 1940 date has minor restorations, mentioned for accuracy.
